7 Side Gigs to Earn Extra Cash

Ever have the notion to earn extra cash?  Personally, I am retired, and I'm always looking for ways to make an extra buck or two.  If you want some great gigs to earn a few extra bucks, read on to my favorites below with 7 Side Gigs To Earn Extra Cash.  I have tried each and every one of these, and continue to use them today.

#1  Quick Thoughts Mobile App

Quick Thoughts is a great mobile app that you can earn a little extra money with ease.  This is one of my very favorites, and I use it daily.  Visit the Google Play Store on your mobile device.  It's free to download.  Once you've downloaded it onto your mobile device, and set up your account, you can sign in, and take surveys every day.  The surveys vary as far as topics but only take anywhere from 3 minutes to 25 minutes to take.  You can earn up to $1.00 per survey, and most of the time if you don't qualify, you will earn 10 cents just for trying.  Each time you earn $10.00, you can cash it in and you will get a $10.00 gift card from Amazon.  This app works great if you're looking to save for something high-priced that you've always wanted to buy on Amazon, but didn't have the cash on hand.  To date, and over the last several months, I have over $100.00 saved on my Amazon gift card balance!

#2  Survey Savvy & SavvyConnect

This app can be used on either your desktop or your mobile appIt's free to sign up.  I prefer to use it on my desktop because the surveys can be navigated a lot easier.  The only catch is, you need to first "qualify" for these surveys, and finish them before earning anything.  These surveys can run from $1.00 to $5.00 per survey.
This app also has another perk called SavvyConnect.  For each device you put it on and keep it on, you can make a passive income of $5.00 per device per month!  Not a bad deal, if you happen to be saving for a rainy day!  But should you choose not to load it on your devices, you can still sign-on, and take surveys only, from your desktop.
Another incentive on this website is that you can also earn money from referring people to Survey Savvy.  If they sign up and take surveys, for every survey they complete you make a little cash.  And if they refer people, and those people sign up and complete surveys you make a little cash as well!

#3  CrowdSurf  (Captioning Services)

This service allows you to type, captioning and transcribing video and audio files.  I love to type, so I use this one a lot.  It's an easy way for you to earn extra money if you type, or have transcribed at all in previous jobs.  And even if you haven't transcribed on any previous jobs, all you have to do is pass their transcription test within a site called Work Market, which is linked with Crowdsurf.  Jobs pay anywhere from .05 cents to 0.19 cents for just 15-25 seconds of work!  You could realistically do 75-100 small typing jobs per day, and earn possibly $15 a day.  They pay you through Work Market (which requires a separate login), but once you go in and set up your payment preference, any work you do is transferred to your account within Work Market, and all you have to do is log in and click on "withdraw" cash.  They pay through either Payoneer or Paypal.  I use Paypal a lot as well, so that choice works for me.

#4  Appen (Falcon) (Desktop)

This website is great to use, because each time you do a research project, they will pay you $5.00.  Most projects only take about 10 minutes of your time, so not bad pay for the 10 minutes you spend right?  I have only done about two or three research projects with them, mostly research regarding Facebook, but their projects are not very intensive, so why not give it a shot?  This one also pays you through either Payoneer or Paypal.  When setting your account up, you can specify which way you want to get paid.

#5  Declutter (Desktop or Mobile App)

This one will pay you for music CDs and books that you want to get rid of.  I mean, if you need to get rid of stuff, why not get paid for it?  The payout is somewhat minimal, but I believe they pay the shipping cost for you to send your package to them.  You can go here to register, and once you are registered you can set up your profile, and opt for either a deposit into your bank account directly, or have them send you a paper check.

#6  Ibotta (Rebate Mobile App)

This mobile app is the rebates app that I use from my mobile device every time I go to the store.  You can find and download it for free from the Google Play Store.  Do a one-month grocery shopping trip and you can really get some fairly good profits back!  To date in the last three years, I've earned over $300 with this app.  It's a great app that I use as a savings account for birthdays, Christmas, or whenever I need a few extra bucks.  As soon as you set up your account

#7  CheckOut 51 (Rebate Mobile App)

This is another great rebate app that I use on my mobile phone.  It can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store for free.  This one has a slightly different layout than Ibotta does, but you can still save a little bit of cash for a rainy day.  Just like Ibotta, once you reach $20, you can cash it out, and they will mail you a paper check.  All the savings can add up to more money saved for sure!  I've saved over $100.00 on this app in the last couple of years.

This is only a handful of side gigs you can use to make extra cash.  There are hundreds of others out there, just waiting for you to find them.  So if you're interested in making a few bucks here and there, it can all add up in your savings account for a rainy day!  Happy Gig-hunting!
